This fee reflects the value of a personalized, thoughtful planning experience, and includes:

✔️ Deep research and vetting of destinations, hotels, flights, and experiences; comparing options you may not even realize existed
✔️ Access to exclusive perks and upgrades through trusted travel partners; and understanding the nuances of destinations and vendors
✔️ Customized itinerary design, including logistics and recommendations
✔️ Ongoing support from booking through your return home

While many vendors do offer a commission (a thank-you for bringing them your business as expanded upon below), that typically comes after travel is completed—it does not cover the upfront time spent planning, researching, and troubleshooting on your behalf.

When you book a trip through me, you don’t pay extra just because you’re working with a travel advisor. In fact, most of the time, my services are paid through a commission from the hotel, cruise line, or tour operator that we select together for your trip.

Think of this commission as a "thank you" from the vendor—a way to recognize and reward me for:

  • Bringing them business

  • Handling the research, communication, and booking process

  • Advocating on behalf of you, the traveler

Just like a realtor gets a commission when helping you buy a home, I earn a commission for bringing my clients to trusted, vetted travel partners, and is not paid until the trip is completed - which can be months in the future.
