As a FORA Advisor, I can create trips from scratch, do the research for new places, help you book a hotel you’ve already decided on, and everything in between. I’ll unlock perks and VIP amenities at hotels, resorts, and cruises. I will support you throughout the entire process, from the brainstorming phase, to after you return.

The commission I earn is already included in the price you pay to the hotel or resort - whether you book with an agent or independently. By booking directly elsewhere; for example, the hotel website or booking website, you're paying for a service you’re not receiving!

What I do NOT get paid for is spending time researching and planning your perfect holiday.

I do not earn an hourly wage. I only get paid commission when we book your trip—and that’s only after you return. So that Maldives getaway, family cruise, or all-inclusive resort stay you book on your own? I could have arranged it for the same (or better!!) price while supporting my small business at no extra cost to you.

Booking with a travel agent is a win-win. I am here for you every step of the way, and not a faceless person at a call center. ✈️

I will start by getting to know you and your travel preferences / budget / ideas by connecting either by phone or email - your preference! Then we will collaborate as we research and plan your dream trip! I will regularly check in throughout the process, and support you during and after!

The more I know, the more I can personalize recommendations. Let me know your vibe, what worked and what did not work - for past experiences.

Budget is a key factor; transparency about your expectations will be helpful.

To ensure I can provide the highest level of service and value, I specialize in full-service travel planning—including custom itineraries, tours, cruises, and vacations where I can personally enhance your experience.

At this time, I do not book flight-only travel or hotel stays using credit card, hotel, or airline loyalty points; Airline delays and cancellations are common and you may need to deal directly with the airlines. Hotel bookings with loyalty points should also be made directly with the hotel.

At Big Beach Travel, my goal is to make your travel experience seamless, personalized, and protected. However, there are certain platforms—like Airbnb and VRBO—where, by policy and legal structure, I’m unable to complete the booking on your behalf.

Here’s why:

1. The Booking Must Be in the Traveler’s Name

Airbnb and VRBO require the person staying at the property to:

• Create the account

• Agree to the host’s rental terms

• Accept liability for any damages, issues, or disputes during the stay

As your travel advisor, I legally cannot:

• Agree to a third-party contract on your behalf

• Accept personal liability for accommodations I will not be using

• Authorize payment using your card or credentials within your account

2. Legal & Financial Protections

Because these bookings are considered private legal agreements between the host and the traveler, only the travelercan authorize and sign the rental terms. Travel advisors are not permitted to bypass or assume responsibility for those legally binding terms.

3. How I Can Still Help

While I can't book the property directly, I can absolutely assist you by:

• Researching options that meet your preferences and budget

• Providing professional guidance on location, amenities, and reviews

• Creating a side-by-side comparison or custom shortlist for you

• Ensuring the rest of your trip is coordinated around your stay

Once you’ve selected a rental, I’ll guide you through the booking process to make sure you feel confident before confirming.
